Marketers will often target teens because more money is spent on them than any other age group.

There are adults who are actually cool enough to point out teens that are "leaders" in the future fashion statements.

There are people out there who study us teens everyday to fin dout what they can sell us.

This quote kind of irritates me and makes me feel like no more than a number in the eyes of marketing corperations. I disagree with tis statement as well because I don't believe it's a matter of giving us what you want us to have but rather giving us what we want. It's rather simple for all we really need to do is go to a different store and we might find something even better than what you had to offer us. ( "You" being the marketers.)

This quote makes me feel annoyed because there is no way to reflect the "real world". I've grown up believing the world is what you make of it and to think that you are reflecting your idea into the media for others to see it as crappy or as bright as you do is wrong and takes the capability of projecting the image of the world as we see it away.
